Driver taken to hospital following crash in Hastings

OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police are investigating a one car crash in the Town of Hastings. It happened at around 8:30 a.m. on Route 49 near Gunther Road.

Police said a 19-year old female was driving westbound when she went off the road and flipped her car into a ravine. She was taken out of the car and brought to Upstate University Hospital.

There is no word on her current condition, but authorities said her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

Police said no tickets have been issued.
