ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- It was a game of human foosball at the East Area YMCA in Fayetteville. The Silver Knights soccer team and Delta Air Lines employees teamed up with children at the Y to play the game.

It was all part of Delta's announcement of a $20,000 donation to the YMCA of Greater Syracuse. The money will help ensure the Y remains a place for everyone to enjoy, regardless of income level.

"They touch people's lives, whether you're a child or an adult, and this type of money is fundamental for allowing people who would never have that opportunity to now become part of that YMCA family," said Gail Grimmette, Senior Vice President of Delta Air Lines New York.

Delta is expanding its service to Syracuse and this contribution is part of its efforts to get more involved with the community.
