SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Organizers have unveiled their plans for the fourth annual ArtsWeek celebration in downtown Syracuse. It's an event that combines a jazz and wine festival, a street art competition and crafts for sale. The event stretches from Columbus Circle to Hanover Square.

“It's a transforming event. It's forward-looking. It brings out the best in all of our citizens. And it's what we need to transform our community and to make it a better place to work, live, raise a family and stay,” said Larry Luttinger, CNY Jazz Arts Foundation.

This year's festival will take place between July 25th and 29th. Organizers say the event draws about 50,000 people to downtown Syracuse.
