SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Some people wasted no time getting to work on their New Year's resolution. A big crowd braved the wintery conditions to take part in the annual Resolution Run.

The event is now in its 34th year. It's put on by the Syracuse Track Club. Organizers say no matter what the conditions, they always seem to get a good turnout.

"They always do, unless it's absolutely horrendous outside. We seem to keep drawing more and more people every year," said Margaret Hartmann, President of Syracuse Track Club.

The run is not competitive, it actually includes a champagne stop. Afterwards, all of the participants get to enjoy a buffet together at the Spaghetti Warehouse.
