Authorities investigate double homicide; suspect in custody

ONTARIO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Authorities in Ontario County say they have a suspect in custody following a double homicide in the City of Geneva.
John Brown, 35, of Palmyra is accused of stabbing a woman and her daughter to death at their home Friday afternoon. Helen Bouchel, 34, and her 12-year-old daughter were found inside their apartment.
Brown is charged with first degree murder and a parole violation. Back in 2003 he was convicted of an assault on an infant. He's due back in court on Monday.
