Herkimer County man accused of rape in Oneida County
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Herkimer County man has been accused of raping a child in Oneida County.
According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Stephen LaClaire, 20, of Dolgeville, had sexual contact with a child under the age of 15 in Rome last fall.
LaClaire has been now charged with second degree rape. He was arraigned and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $20,000 bail.
