CORNING, N.Y. -- Family and close friends pay tribute to the 26-year-old Corning man who was killed in his home last weekend. A group gathered Sunday in the Hornby Fire Hall for a memorial in honor of Clark VanEtten.
Police say VanEtten was stabbed twice with a knife last Saturday in his Park Avenue home. Samantha Smith and, 28, and Marland Brooks, 38, have both been arrested and charged with second degree murder. Police say the three knew each other and believe money may have played a role in the attack.
