TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Ithaca man is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. Police found more than 200 bags of heroin following a search of two homes Monday morning. Officials said they found a total of 230 bags of heroin and $831 in the two houses on Hancock Street in Ithaca.

Eric Sellers was arrested as a result of the search. He is also facing a parole violation. He was sent to the Tompkins County Jail.
