ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The warm weather we've been having has many people eager to get out and work on their landscaping.
That drew thousands of people to the Central New York Home and Garden Show, which ran at the state fairgrounds through Sunday.
Exhibitors we spoke with said this is a good time to get your lawn ready by raking, and to clean out your plant beds.
But they caution that you shouldn't go overboard with planting just yet.
Dave O'Hara, Northern Nurseries Sales Representative said, “As much as the warm temperatures are here this week, you still want to be careful about jumping the gun too much because April still could bring in a lot of cold temperatures and you do want to be cautious of that."
O'Hara said you'll want to avoid planting annuals or plants with early vegetation just yet.
