Lansing man sentenced for Elmira stabbing

CHEMUNG COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Lansing man who stabbed two men at an Elmira party last year is sentenced.

Kalon Brooks, 22, was charged with second degree assault last August after he stabbed two men during a fight in Elmira Heights. Both of the victims got away with non-life threatening injuries.

Brooks was sentenced Monday to one year in prison.
