More charges following Steuben County meth bust
LINDLEY, N.Y. --Two men are arraigned on drug charges after a meth lab is discovered at a Steuben County residence.
The landlord of a residence in Lindley first notified deputies last August, alleging that two of his tenants were in the process of making meth.
After a lengthy investigation, deputies say they found a portable meth lab, as well as two ounces of meth and items used for manufacturing.
Police charge Barney Baker of Lindley and Edward Swinnerton of Watkins Glen with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
The two are currently being held on Chemung County jail on unrelated charges.
