IJC wrapping up hearings
ALEXANDRIA BAY, N.Y. -- The International Joint Commission is wrapping up their public hearings on the proposed water levels management plan called Plan 2007.

The IJC said Plan 2007 is the best way to regulate water levels and flows on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River. According to the IJC the plan combines environmental and recreational benefits, while helping erosion.

But those opposed to the plan say it represents "business as usual" and will not help the environment.
