Obama's Great Lakes cleanup fund
UPSTATE NEW YORK -- Presidential hopeful Barack Obama was campaigning in Michigan on Tuesday and mentioned a proposal that would impact Upstate New York.
Obama's camp said he would propose a $5 billion trust fund for restoration and clean up of the Great Lakes. The fund is part of a plan that would also fight invasive species and designate a coordinator for Great Lakes programs.
