WATERTOWN, NY -- A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of the town of Watertown.

Local officials say there was a computer error that caused the water tank not to be filled.

The affected areas include Route 11, Route 232, Kirk Road, County Route 67, County Route 155 and County Route 165 as well as the Spring Valley area.
