Prosecution rests case in Oxley trial
The prosecution rested its case Thursday in Wayne Oxley's murder trial.
Oxley is facing second degree murder charges for allegedly killing his neighbor, Bernard Trickey, with a baseball bat in August 2005. A bloody baseball bat was found in Oxley's basement one day after the murder.

Oxley's 15-year-old son was the first witness taking the stand for the defense. He said Oxley's neighbor, John Shannon, had a key to the house, and the teen testified he saw Shannon go inside when his father was not home.
Shannon's cousin and the mother of his child also took the stand. She testified that Shannon told her when Trickey sold drugs to him, he was "short-changed."
Shannon died in a mysterious house fire one month after the murder. The trial continues Friday.
