PIERREPONT, N.Y. -- A man is in critical condition following a snowmobile crash in St. Lawrence County.

Deputies say Wesley Frank, 22, was thrown from his snowmobile after hitting a guard rail on State Route 68 near Brown Road in the town of Pierrepont around 2:45 Sunday morning. Frank was taken to Canton-Potsdam Hospital with multiple injuries, then tranferred to a Vermont hospital.

Deputies are still investigating the crash.
