ST. LAWRENCE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The third trial of a St. Lawrence County man accused of murdering his neighbor is scheduled to begin later this spring.

Wayne Oxley is accused of beating his neighbor, Bernard Trickey Jr. to death with a baseball bat in 2005. He was convicted in 2006, but that was later overturned and his re-trial ended in a hung jury in December.

Oxley was represented by a public defender in both of the first two trials, and will be provided an attorney once again, however this time he'll have to reimburse the county.

Also, he will not be represented by Richard Manning again who has been relieved of his duties in the case.

The re-trial is scheduled to begin at the end of April, but we're told it is expected to be pushed back.
