Woman sentenced for killing her boyfriend
WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- A Watertown woman convicted of killing her boyfriend is sentenced to 24 years behind bars.
Krista Goley, 25, was convicted of first degree manslaughter back in January for the stabbing of Timothy Rolland, 21.
Goley stabbed Rolland in the chest with a butcher knife back in September of 2010. She claimed it was self defense.
On Friday, a judge sentenced her to 24 years in prison. In addition to manlsaughter, she was also sentenced for assault, perjury, and numerous other crimes related to the stabbing.
