FRANKLIN COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Saranac Lake man was arrested after police said he allegedly pointed a loaded gun at someone and demanded money. Police said Joseph Puccini, 43, attempted to rob a 34-year-old man in the parking lot of the Algonquin Apartments, where Puccini lives, on Wednesday.

After getting a search warrant, police seized 30 guns from Puccini's home: 15 handguns and 15 long rifles.

Puccini was charged with attempted robbery, criminal possession of a weapon, menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.
