JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- It’s been nearly a decade, but monster trucks are returning to LaFargeville to what is now known as Chapman’s Can-Am Motorsports Park.
The track is the perfect venue for the “Night of Fire and Destruction Monster Truck and Stunt Show.”
Autographs and pictures with the trucks and drivers will be available at 6 p.m. Thursday.
World motorcycle record stunt jumper Doug Danger will be leaping the monster trucks and there will be some auto pyrotechnics.
Organizers say the trucks are a must see.
“It’s gonna be a great show. We got world record holders coming in with Big Foot, Barsley Guys, The Eliminator, Defender, the Viper Truck coming in, the brand new XDP truck, a $200,000 diesel monster truck. It’s incredible,” said Jack Brady, KSR Motorsports owner.
Thursday night's event will finish out with a monster fireworks display.
