JEFFERSON COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police arrested a former Fort Drum soldier for an alleged rape. Kelan Fisher, 19, is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old girl, leading to a pregnancy last year.

Fisher was stationed at Fort Drum at the time but has since been discharged. He was extradited from Memphis, Tennessee last Friday and arraigned in the town of Leray.

Fisher faces charges for second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of the child. He's being held on $10,000 bail.
