The New York Giants football camp does not open in Albany for another four months, but Camp Conquest has officially opened for business. Monday marked day one of the training camp for the AF2 Albany Conquest.
New head coach Richard Davis looked over the team Monday afternoon. He is a no-nonsense guy who said he looks forward to winning. The Conquest have never won a championship, so that's priority number one for Davis. Double-session practices are scheduled for the next two days, a scrimmage will be played on Friday.
Davis said, "The biggest message really is, we're here to win it all—not some of it, we're not here to knock on the door, we're here to own the house."
