ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Lawyers in the defamation lawsuit against Syracuse University and basketball coach Jim Boeheim are expected to be in Onondaga County Court Tuesday to argue for a change of venue. The suit was filed in New York City, but last month attorneys for SU filed a motion to have the court location moved to Syracuse.

Bobby Davis and Mike Lang's lawyers argue they won't be able to get an impartial trial in Onondaga County and have since filed a cross-motion to keep the case in New York City. They also made another attempt to keep it based in the New York City, filing a motion to obtain information about former SU players who may have been in the New York City area, but that was denied.

Tuesday’s hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m.
