TAMPA, Fla. -- After watching Wednesday night's speeches from the comfort of his hotel, Mitt Romney will formally accept the GOP nomination for president during the Republican National Convention.

Following Romney's address, House Speaker John Boehner will convene the session on its third full day.

Also among tonight's speakers are former presidential candidate Newt Gingrich and Florida Senator and GOP rising star Marco Rubio.

The four-day convention had to rework many events into three days due to Tropical Storm Isaac.
