eBook Rentals For KindleOnline retail giant Amazon has begun renting eBook versions of textbooks for their Kindle ereader and other Kindle mobile apps.
According to Amazon, tens-of-thousands of books will be made available for rental from between 30-days to the whole year.
Once the rental period is up, users will be able to extend their rental or purchase the book.
Students who rent ebooks rather than buying new copies of the physical books can save as much as 80 percent per book, Amazon says.
The Kindle software for mobile devices is free and you can find the textbooks at Amazon's online Textbooks Store.
Karizmac Luminous
"Karizmac Luminous" asks women questions based on six categories: interpretation, perspectives, dynamics, reflections, clarity and vision.
Based on the answers to those questions, the app will draw from a database of 480 well-known and influential women and decide which would make similar life decisions and why.
As the user professes through the questions, a charisma star map is created that serves as a guide to your personality.
"Karizmac Luminous" is an iOS app that has both a free version and a full version for $1.99.
