Winterlude, an Ottawa winter festival with something for everyone. Only a 4 1/2 hour drive out of Rochester, 3 hours from Syracuse, Ottawa is a very doable Getaway on the weekend.
Winterlude is a combination of ice and snow sculptures and demonstrations, gigantic snow slides, ice skating on the Rideau Canal and so much more! Winter is celebrated in grand style, weekends from February 4th through the 21st. Most all events are free to see!
