SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Three people are being held without bail awaiting their day in court in connection with a 2010 murder in Syracuse. Johan Carrisquillo, Iris Resto and Paul Santiago were all arraigned Tuesday for allegedly trying to silence witnesses.
Luis Quinonez-Osorio was shot to death at his home on South Geddes Street on August 21st, 2010.
Resto faces several charges including murder, conspiracy, bribing a witness and five others. Santiago and Carrisquillo are both charged with conspiracy tampering with a witness.
In addition, Santiago is charged with bribing a witness and enterprise corruption, and Carrisquillo with intimidating a witness and assault.
Also in connection with this investigation, Syracuse attorney Ezequiel Neuman was charged with bribing witnesses with cash and cocaine. And another man, Emilier Carrisquillo-Fuentes, is awaiting trial for murder in the case, along with two others.
His trial was set to begin this month, but prosecutors are now seeking to have it postponed.
