SKANEATELES, N.Y. -- Runners got into the holiday spirit in Skaneateles. The second annual Monster Mash Road Race brought hundreds of competitors to the village on Saturday.
Proceeds from the race benefit the American Red Cross. Many runners came out in costume, and while it's funy time for many, organizers said it can still be competitive.
"It is a fun race, but there are always the people who want to race as fast as they can. And this is a great course to do that too," said Josh Baker, race co-coordinator.
In addition to the main 3.5 mile run, there was also a fun run for kids.
