ENDICOTT, N.Y. -- A weekend on the links wraps up Sunday for some big name golfers in Endicott. It's the final round of the Dick's Sporting Goods Open.
Heading into the last stretch, Bart Bryant leads the field by four strokes. Bryant had a big round two, actually tying the tournament record of 10 under par for the day and setting another record of 16 under for 36 holes.
This is Bryant's first year on the Champions Tour. He says he's feeling confident in this final stretch.
"I'm going to have to go out there, I'm going to have to get some more birdies to be able to win this. I can't go out and play it really safe. But if I can drive it well, play solid and if my putter continues to perform as it did the last two days, I think it could be a real good day," Bryant said.
The effort was part of a big day all around, with more than half the field shooting under par.
First round leader Kenny Perry is now eight strokes back, while Horseheads native Joey Sindelar is behind by 12 strokes.
The Dick's Open wraps up Sunday evening with the trophy presentation.
