SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police made quick work arresting the man who they say robbed a bank.
Police say Mark Evans, 54, walked into the Chase Bank on South Crouse Avenue Saturday morning and handed the teller a threatening note. Witnesses said he was given cash and left the scene in a taxi.
Officers eventually spotted the cab and the suspect got out and tried to run away.
Evans was arrested and charged with robbery in the third degree and grand larceny.
