SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Music, food and dancing filled Ward Bakery Park in Syracuse. Festival Latino Americano celebrated a number of cultures.
Organizers say it's a great event because many people may not realize how diverse the Latin American population is in Central New York.
"Latin America, it's about 21 different countries and we are all in Syracuse alone. We have representation of all those 21 countries, 5,000, 10,000, but we have them all the different 21 countries," festival organizer Fanny Villarreal.
Organizers revived the event last year. This is the second year the festival has been held at Ward Bakery Park.
