SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A non-profit art organization is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year with a new exhibit on the Syracuse University hill.
The 40 Artists/40 Years exhibit is now on display at the Light Work studio.
Hundreds of artists have participated in Light Work residence programs, exhibits, and programs in the studio since 1973.
Both community members and SU students continue to be active in programs today.
The new exhibit highlights the work of emerging artists working in the areas of photography and digital imaging.
Light Work Master Printer John Wesley Mannion said, "This facility has become, it's been a place for photographers to come and to work and to know that they can do things for themselves but also to have a support in our staff to be able to get answers when they need them."
You can visit the new exhibit through October 25. There will also be a free community reception on Thursday, September 26.
