UTICA, N.Y.-- An Oneida County man suspected of killing his wife in June will have multiple hearings related to evidence and his own testimony before his trial.
Larry Utter, 49, is accused of shooting his wife, Stacey, at their home in Forestport.
Utter could have at least four hearings leading up to his trial. Some of the hearings will be aimed at making other potential crimes, or Utter himself, impeachable.
Judge Michael Dwyer scheduled a suppression hearing for September 12th. Utter's trial date will be set then.
