BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- The White House released details Tuesday afternoon surrounding President Obama's trip to the Southern Tier later this week.
After spending the day Thursday criss-crossing Upstate New York, the President will head to Binghamton Friday morning for a town hall meeting at Binghamton University.
The event is scheduled to take place at the University Union around 12:45 p.m at the University Union.
Obama is expected to discuss higher education and how to make college more affordable for students and their families.
The audience will consist of BU students, faculty and staff.
The university is holding an online lottery pool to determine who gets tickets. One entry is permitted per person, and the winners will be drawn on Wednesday at noon.
