NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- The Taste New York experience has brought nearly 100 vendors and farmers to the fair this year.
Visitors are able to participate in the Taste New York Trail. There are seven stops throughout the fairgrounds. The new attraction is giving people a deeper look into New York agriculture.
Some of the stops include wineries, breweries, and dairy products. According to organizers, the goal of this new attraction is to bring New Yorkers back to their roots.
"People always come to the fair for the rides, they come for the entertainment. But the main purpose of the fair is to promote New York products and New York agriculture. Taste New York is a center piece of these efforts," said Joe Morrissey, New York State Dept. of Agriculture and Markets.
