NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- As part of Women's Day at the fair, several advocacy groups set up a mini fair with information for women.
One local group was there to get the word out about human trafficking. The Junior League of Syracuse is holding an anti-human trafficking campaign throughout Central New York and started it at the fair.
"Human trafficking is an issue right here in our hometown and we're just trying to make people aware of it. We have our t-shirts and we also have some posters and billboards that are going to be placed around Central New York that are just raising awareness and making sure that people know that this is a huge issue for us," said Kate Zwecker of the Junior League of Syracuse.
They had a booth set up at the Chevy Court Pavilion and gave away stickers to raise awareness for their cause.
