NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- There's a new condition that a number of fairgoers have caught Thursday.
Kayla Smith said, "Having some Luke Fever definitely."
And it appears to be contagious. Fans of the country star dressed in cowboy and girl hats, as well as boots, to show their support and excitement to see Luke Bryan perform some of his hits.
"I'm a huge fan of Luke because I really like country music, but he isn't all like giddy-up like western, but he's kind of like chill, stuff us teenagers like to listen to," said Nick Graham.
He was first here as an opening act. In the last year, he's grown in popularity, now performing here as a headliner at the grandstand.
Josh Jones said, "I'm a big fan of him. I came to the concert last year with Jason Aldean, when he opened up for Jason Aldean. I liked it again. I wanted to come back again. I look forward to seeing him."
Smith added, "He's got a great voice and his lyrics are amazing."
A winning combination for these fans who have been looking forward to this day for weeks.
