SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One of the men accused of killing a man in Syracuse for just not being from the neighborhood was indicted Friday.
Jermaine Davis, 36, was stabbed along the 1100 block of South Townsend Street back in July. According to investigators, Davis had been approached by Dondre Cannon, 18, and Daywon Adair, 22. They say the two men confronted Davis, asking why he was there. When Davis said he didn't want trouble and tried to get away, police say the two cornered him on a porch and stabbed him multiple times.
A grand jury indicted Adair Friday on one count of second degree murder and one count of first degree manslaughter.
Cannon has been indicted on the same charges.
