NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- At the Agriculture Museum, there are demonstrations going on all the time for various arts and crafts. You can choose from basket making, wood working and you can even see musical instruments being made.
One of the exhibitors is making dulcimers. Bernd Krause has been making instruments by hand for 35 years.
"A lot of the processes are still the same. You have to bend the sides, you still have to use the thin wood. There's a top and a back. It's very critical where the front placement is so the instrument is playable," said Krause.
