SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Students are going back to school in style with free haircuts. Divine Destiny Creations on North Salina Street in Syracuse gave about 50 kids from kindergarten through 12th grade hair makeovers.
Families from as close as Syracuse and as far away as Auburn came out for the event.
This is the second year for the free hair styles.
"Very excited because you know that going back to school is very expensive for parents and this is one less thing they have to worry about doing for their children," said Jayvana Rucker, Divine Destiny Creations owner and stylist.
The owner of Devine Destiny Creations plans to do the free "back to school" hairstyling event every year.
