UTICA, N.Y. -- A bridge on Leland Avenue in Utica has been decorated with flowers in honor of Levon Wameling.
It is the location where police found a child's remains in the Mohawk River about two weeks ago. They believe the remains could belong to Wameling, who have been missing since May.
However, the remains have still not been identified.
The baby's father, Jevon Wameling, said he left the child unattended on the front porch, and the baby was gone when he came back out on the porch. Jevon did not report the baby was missing until two weeks later.
The medical examiner is still in the process of identifying the remains.
