UTICA, N.Y. -- A dog who touched hearts across the region last week is recovering well in Utica.
The Stevens Swan Humane Society says Autumn has gained two-and-a-half pounds since being brought in. She has also passed all the bones she had in her stomach from likely eating road kill.
Autumn was found by police last Thursday scavenging on Whitesboro Street. The organization says she is happy and is loving all the attention. They also wanted to thank the public for all the gifts donated to her during the weekend.
