UTICA, N.Y. -- A Utica man was arrested after officials said he hit a patrol car twice, and led them on a high speed chase.
According to police, it started in Westmoreland on Thursday. A sheriff's deputy attempted to pull over Kendrick Pollard, 24, on his motorcycle. However, Pollard would not pull over.
He proceeded to turn around in the road, and hit the front of the patrol car that was following him. Deputies chased Pollard on Route 5 through Westmoreland, Kirkland, and New Hartford. Before the chase came to an end, Pollard managed to hit the same patrol car a second time.
Pollard faces several charges, including feeling an officer, driving without a license, and reckless driving. There was also a warrant out for Pollard's arrest in Oswego County.
He is currently being held in Oneida County Jail.
