MASSENA, N.Y. -- A North County man was indicted in connection with a deadly car and pedestrian crash.
The grand jury indicted James Berry on charges of second degree vehicular manslaughter and driving while ability impaired. Berry was accused of hitting Edward Remington with his car on a street in Massena.
Remington later died from those injuries. According to the officer who responded to the crash, Berry's breath smelled like alcohol.
