ITHACA, N.Y. -- Jury deliberations ended for the day Thursday and jurors will be back Friday to deliberate in the murder trial of Corbin Whyte. He's accused of shooting and killing Paul Garcia in the parking lot of an Ithaca apartment complex back in 2010.
Thursday, jurors asked for the testimony of a neighbor to be re-read. The witness claims to have seen Whyte running from the scene after shots were fired. The defense questions what the witness could have seen.
This is the third time Whyte's fate has been in the hands of a jury. The first two attempts ended in mistrials.
Whyte is charged with murder, robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
