SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse may have suffered a tough loss against Clemson, but hardcore Orange fans stick by their team.
It was clear going into Saturday's game that SU would have an uphill battle against the "number three ranked" Tigers, but that didn't stop fans from getting excited for the game.
Despite heavy rains at times they were out in droves, celebrating both the first A-C-C match up for the team and Homecoming. And even a tough match up can't keep SU's most dedicated fans away.
"We're die hard Syracuse fans, I think with the exception of my brother getting his masters none of us went to Syracuse, but we grew up here, and we just love being a Syracuse fan, we went to the Final Four, we just are Syracuse fans, we're die hard and we just keep coming back," said SU fan Cindy Dowd Greene.
SU will be away next week, as the team takes on North Carolina State in Raleigh.
