SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A new outdoor Challenge Course on Syracuse University's South Campus may help you step outside your personal limits.
The course opened to the public on Tuesday. It features three towers, a dual zip line, and a triple leap of faith. The hope is to attract groups for team building events facilitated by Syracuse University's Recreation Services Department.
According to officials, the course allows groups to have fun by working together to complete obstacles.
"A lot of times we are blocking ourselves from doing something, thinking I can't do this. So, when you first look at it, it may look a bit intimidated," said Scott Catucci, Outdoor Education Recreation Services Director. "But, we'll walk you through a series of activities and processes that help you to understand, that once you're up there, you can get through it with the help of your group, and the help of your peers."
There are four or eight hour programs available for reservations. For more information about the course and pricing, head to recreationservices.syr.edu.
