GOUVERNEUR, N.Y. -- The man accused in the murder of seven-month-old Bryalin Chambers faces a new charge.
A St. Lawrence County grand jury has now indicted Gary McKenzie on third degree criminal possession of a weapon. Police were called to McKenzie's home in July, where the discovered McKenzie attempting perform CPR on Chambers.
McKenzie has already plead not guilty to four other charges, including second degree murder and manslaughter.
He is expected to be arraigned on the new charge by the end of October.
