SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Opera went through one of their final dress rehearsals before its production of 'The Tragedy of Carmen.'
Music and singing filled the John H. Mulroy Civic Center Wednesday night. The show opens on Friday night at the Carrier Theater.
People in the production say you'll be familiar with many of the musical numbers.
"It's melodies we've all heard growing up at some point or the Carmen and, of course, if you ever watched Looney Tunes, you'd hear this is music that has continuously captured people for generations," said performer Wes Mason.
Tickets start at $19 a person. There are five performances to check out, with the last one on Sunday, October 20th.
