FULTON, N.Y. -- After 350 miles, a Maryland man has made it back to his hometown of Fulton, on foot.
Ben Hall ran from his home in Manchester, Maryland to the city of Fulton in memory of his aunt and uncle who both passed away from cancer. He called his run the "Crush Cancer Campaign" and set a goal of raising $5,000 for the American Cancer Society.
Hall's journey ended at his uncle's home where Anheuser Busch Baldwinsville Brewery provided him with a check for a thousand more dollars, putting him over his goal.
"I'm overjoyed to have made it safe these two weeks running on the side of the road. And being able to see all my family now, it is such a reward to me," said Hall.
"We're so proud of him, but it's not just our family. Along the way people donated rooms, comped his food, under armour gave him gear," said Hall's mother Jamie Prue.
